Supporting Therapies
The following therapies are utilized at RejuveGenics to help his patients to achieve and maintain their optimal health.
Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is the rehabilitation of an incompetent structure such as a ligament or a tendon, by the induced proliferation of new cells. A ligament is a band of fibrous tissue that holds bones together. Just like a rubber band, a ligament can become “over-stretched.” The resulting laxity can cause severe pain as bones rub together or as muscles are overworked as they tighten in an attempt to stabilize the bones.
Prolotherapy is a treatment where a proliferate solution of natural substances are injected directly into the site where the weakened ligament attaches to the bone. These injections then trigger the creation of healthy tissue which then properly stabilizes the bones and joints, relieving various musculoskeletal pain and stiffness. Prolotherapy is one of the treatments of choice for chronic pain.
Neural Therapy
Neural Therapy is a German treatment system for chronic illness and pain. It involves the injection of local anesthetics into autonomic ganglia, peripheral nerves, scars, glands, trigger points and other tissues. It is believed to act through normalizing the illness-related dysfunction of the nervous system.
In Germany it has become one of the most widely used modalities in the treatment of chronic pain and intractable illness. Neural therapy is effective in treating chronic pain, migraine headaches, menstrual pain, sinusitis, vertigo and a number of other chronic conditions.
Self-blood Therapy
Self-blood therapy (SBT) involves the simple re-injection of 1-10ml of one’s own blood, usually intramuscularly or subcutaneously. SBT stimulates the immune system and is effective in the treatment of acute and chronic viral and bacterial infections, allergies, migraine headaches, Raynaud's disease, Lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, MS, Parkinson's, fibromyalgia, psoriasis, eczema, hay fever, dermatitis, Crohn's disease, IBS and asthma.
Chelation Therapy
Chelation therapy is used in patients with heavy metal toxicity. An intravenous (IV) synthetic amino acid (EDTA) or DMPS is used to bind (chelate) heavy metals such as iron, lead, mercury and others, removing them from the blood stream and tissues. Many believe chelation therapy, along with a proper nutritional program, aids in the break-down of the plaques that line the arteries and cause arteriosclerosis. The end result of this type of treatment in some people is increased blood flow and a marked decrease of excessive deposits of plaques in arteries and organs such as the liver, kidney, heart and brain.
Oxidative Therapy
Oxygen is vital to the proper function and development of the body's cells. Improper diet, lack of exercise, and environmental conditions can each lead to a decreased level of oxygen in a person's body, which in turn, can lead to various health problems because cellular metabolism is weakened.
Various viruses, bacterium, parasites, and cancers thrive in low oxygen environments. Oxidative medicine uses oxygen in various forms to promote healing at the cellular level. Oxidative medicine has been used in the treatment of immune dysregulation, chronic fatigue, and various infections.
Intravenous Myers’ Cocktail
Myers’ Cocktail therapy is an IV push consisting of a mixture of vitamins and minerals. It is administered over 5-10 minutes. It is effective in treating a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions such as migraines, asthma, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis and autoimmune diseases when used in conjunction with self-blood therapy.
PSYCH-K
PSYCH-K is a unique and direct way to identify and change subconscious beliefs that perpetuate old habits and behaviors that you would like to change. It is a simple process that helps you communicate with your subconscious mind so you can change beliefs that sabotage your self-esteem, relationships, job performance and even your physical health. PSYCH-K is a user-friendly way to rewrite the software of your mind in order to change the printout of your life.
